“A Harry Colt designed course in the heart of Cardigan Bay”

Golf Breaks in Borth and Ynyslas

Combine an unforgettable round of coastal golf with a relaxing stay on the beautiful Mid Wales coast.

Established in 1885, Borth & Ynyslas Golf Club is regarded as the oldest golf course in Wales. Set along the sweeping coastline of Cardigan Bay, this traditional links course stretches from the seaside village of Borth towards the spectacular dunes of Ynyslas. Redesigned by renowned golf architect Harry S. Colt, the course offers an enjoyable yet testing round for golfers of all abilities.

Rolling fairways, natural humps and hollows, strategically positioned bunkers and the famous coastal breeze make every hole feel different. The course follows a classic out-and-back design, with magnificent views across the sea, Dyfi Estuary and towards the mountains of Eryri. Its relatively level terrain also makes it comfortable to walk, although the changing wind ensures it remains a rewarding challenge.
